I would love to do the full scorched earth at some stage.
But how about a mini game just involving the crops you can grow on the patches.
Sell all but 1 of everything and first to 50 or more of each in their silos wins.
Farmer's honour not to buy anything.
To make it fair and accessible to everyone we can exclude rice & lettuce and only use the number of fields that the lowest level player has (higher level players can grow rice / lettuce on their extra patches)
I reckon using 50 fields it will take around 48 hours, possibly 3 days.

I'm in, too.
questions: * if we get a boat order for a crop or fruit we don't have enough of yet, can we ask for help on those crates? (well, yes, I think...) * the players with more land squares, put the extra squares into storage? or use those to grow lettuce and rice?

Karen, hippo already answered the latter... Does this include trees and bushes, or just crops?

You can ask for help, or buy for boat orders.
Use your extra land for rice / lettuce
i have 86 patches. You can't put them away so we all might need to domsome rearranging.
Pleae post on the thread if you buy for your boat.

Karen, hippo already answered the latter... Does this include trees and bushes, or just crops? Just crops this time. Lets see how it goes and if we want to do full scorched earth at some stage. Suspect full scorched earth will prevent you doing more boats.

You do realise it stops a lot of production for your machines. So it's more challenging than you first realise.
Q? - how do we time it between us all?

If we buy for boats, then we sell the excess? So if we need 4 and had to buy 10, put 4 in the crate and 6 in the shop

I think it will only take about 48 - 72 hours. Jam will be fine apart from strawberry and we can stockpile some feed, and load machines.

The more I think about it, the more I realize it does effect the production of loads of products, indeed. Some of these products are fairly easy to find for sale, others are not (sugar!). Great idea, hippo! I'm not ready to play the full scorched earth challenge yet, but this is a very nice start.

I've been thinking about this, and starting either early morning or just before bed does give a slight advantage as you get the full 8 hours for the longer growing crops.
So I propose.
Start when you want. Is this weekend too soon?
Use 50 fields only.
You can buy crops for the boat - but sell any excess
Sell any crops won from the wheel of fortune
Before you start post a screen shot of the 50 fields you will be using and your near empty silo
No using Tom for crops
No using diamonds.
If you accidentally use diamonds, either sell the crop or leave it until the time at which it would have harvested.
