strawberries (sb), they take 8 hours. so, from 1 to 2 sb in 8 hours from 2 to 4 sb in 16 hours, 4 to 8, in 24 hours 8 to 16, in 32 hours 16 to 32, in 44 hours 40 hours and up to 50 or more, finished in 56 hours. 48 hours You're right hippo, the record time would be 48 hours.

I just had a thought, and had to voice it before I sleep. Your most important crops for production don't take very long to produce, you should have them all over 50 within the first day. Once over 50, start producing them in your spare fields, and production continues. If you play it right, Filling queues and what not. It should have little or no effect on production, just make the things that you can! Yes, that's my idea, too. It's only a few things that you won't be able to produce for more than half a day - one day. So, to win you have to plan carefully and be very committed to this planning. And to get through it without a lot of 'damage' done, you need to prepare ( stock up certain products). And maybe buy more than you are used to, also depending on boat and truck orders you either want to play, or send off.

I think that you should only use the initial 50 patches for the first 11 crops until you have 50 of each in your silo.
I am rather looking forward to this.

Ok. Since it may be a close call in the end, we could add the rule that a second before you start, you make a screenpic of this site, showing the current GMT time www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=136Like this: Start is: * You already sold all your crops except 1 of each (lettuce and rice excluded), or they may be in your rss, for sale. Make a picture showing your silo contents. * You have rearranged your crop squares, 50 are in this race, if you have more they should be out of the way at some other place at your farm * Make a screenshot of the current GMT/London time = your actual start time! * Hurry to your farm to plant the crops * Walk to the forum and post the pictures of your silo and your start time More or other ideas/ suggestions? Lexi, do you have at least 50 crop squares?

Start time will be shortly after the time we post screenshots.
You can buy for the boat - but must sell excess You can open crates. You can only grow the 11 crops on the 50 patches until you have 50 of each If you win a crop on the wheel you must sell it (or put it into a machine) No using diamonds to speed up. If you do accidentally either sell them, or leave them until the right time You can grow lettuce or rice on your spare patches.

I'm excited, too. Yes, others may think that is a little sad, lol.
I prefer to start in the morning or the afternoon. Could be tomorrow, 3 PM GMT, or Saturday morning around 9 AM GMT. We don't have to start at the same time, as long as we each post the 2 start pictures when we start.
Is tomorrow afternoon too early, should I wait til saturday morning? Also depending on what starting time the others have in mind?

Yes Ann, it'll be a pleasure to entertain you. For a start: I tried to prep for this challenge, I really tried. For example, I produced extra soy sauce, less olive oil. But then I got 2 boats in a row for soy sauce. Luckily, I managed to get my stock of tomato juice way up! Until I filled my tomato juice boat, 5 minutes ago. In the meantime I also sold my carrot pies, loaded my carrot juice in a friend's boat, ran almost out of strawberry jam, .... Oh well. Yeah, this will be fun to watch
