Blimey. Well done. I have messed up my strawberries and will be another 16 hours. Ouch. Sorry for you Hippo. I actually hoped we would finish in only minutes apart! What happened? Tina started 15.58. So she can still set a better time than I did. And Jo as well ofcourse!

Thanks Ann! That is, I made it through the finish, but not sure yet who'll win. Jo started a day later.
Tina's total time: 2 days 1 hour 27 minutes Wow, a difference of only 8 minutes between Tina and me!

It was fun to do! I'll probably join a next mini scorched earth challenge, but I don't think I'm going to get up in the middle of the night to put something in an oven...
BTW, hay day's clock is not only off for tom, but apparently for anything. I never paid close attention to it, but now that I did, I know for sure that crops can be late ;-). Kind of strange, I would think that setting the time and keeping it accurate would be one of the more easy things to program in a game.
Playing the full scorched earth challenge? Neah, maybe some day, maybe months from now. And only if there are many forum members playing the challenge, at the same time. Could be fun.... Some day.

The timing is ridiculous. The strawberries took a different amount of time to grow with every batch. I was 10 mins late for 1 harvest and they were still not ready!

Timing's off indeed. I noticed with the boat and with gathering milk. The boat often takes longer (when it says it will arrive in an hour it's often an hour and 10 minutes), and the cowmilk seem to be shorter, sometimes I can gather milk twice in less than 45 minutes, instead of 60 minutes. At first I thought it was me, but sometimes I can check back what time I started playing (like when I just woke up) so I know that no hour has passed yet.

My wheat often gets stuck. I go away and noting has happened
I have 16 strawberries in my silo. 16 growing and ready in 3 hours. 16 plus 2 x 16 is 48 and not 50. Blast it.
So I'll be done in 8 hours. Next time we have a game I shall suggest one that I can win.
Rematch in a few months.

Jo won a custom title by winning this Challenge. What would be a nice title for Jo? Queen of the Crops? Strawberry Jo? ...?
