I was wondering. What devices are you using to play your games. I'm using iPad and sometimes iPhone (when I'm digging in the daily dirt . I'm thinking about iPad mini (my old iPads are always in use - daughters). Is it big enough to comfortably play?

I'm using the mini, I think it's wonderful! I've never used a larger ipad so don't have anything to compare to

I use my ipad, but would love to know how to load the same farm on my iPhone as well to try out the DD trick.

Sorry to be so ignorant, but how do I sign into GC? Can I only be signed onto one device at a time (will I need to keep signing in when I switch devices)? Thx!

I have used most of the various iDevices - my favorite is the iPad Air or iPad 3/4 with Retina Display. I want to get a mini w/retina but I have pulled the trigger yet. I'm sure it will be fabulous though. I use an iPhone 5 for my 2nd account when I play it, it is a vastly different experience than an iPad. You can't really go wrong though!

I use my phone, a samsung galaxy s3 mini. Because of GC I use my Ipod Touch too, but rarely.

No, you can be signed in on multiple devices, that's the beauty of it. And gameplay will be synced across devices. You can sign-in in Settings-Game Center.

I leaning toward iPad Air, but it's expensive here in Europe (basically $=Eur) I think I will wait for my next USA visit...

I find it more than big enough... If I was lucky enough to chooses between the two, it would be the ipad air, but the mini is brilliant too. When I can get my hands on it that is. The daughter believes it to be hers.

Thank you Tina, will have to check both of them in the store . I have the same problem. Have two iPads, but three daughters, so by their logic not enough.

Just coming over here from the off topic thread. I currently play on iPhone and iPod so I do a lot of squinting at tiny screens! Handy for playing when my boy is asleep on me though (this happens a lot, he's a dreadful sleeper lately). Having played with a couple in store today I really love the mini with retina display but will probably splash a tiny bit extra on the air. Couldn't believe the display quality! Now to persuade my husband we *need* this for our son

Ok...tried this on my new iPhone. It looked like I was signed into GC. I could see all my friends. Then I went to the App Store & it had a download sign (as if it knew I already had it on another device), so I downloaded it, but it's a brand new farm. What am I doing wrong?

On your phone it should load up a new farm initially but then detect your current farm linked to your gc and a pop up asks if you want to load it. At least, that's how mine worked. Might take a little while with the game open for it to detect maybe?

Verify you are logged into GC into the phone/pod. Then force close the hay day app. Do a hard reset on the device (power button and home key until it shuts itself down) count to 30. Power device back on then open hay day app. Mine too about 2 times after I hard cycled the phone to ask if I wanted my other farm loaded or if I wanted to keep the new one. Hope this helps

I use an iPad Air, an iPad 4, an iPhone 4S, and a MacBook Pro at various times. I find it easier to keep two devices open when I play, especially on expansion day. The phone is really too small for me to see and use efficiently for HD, but it helps if a boat is due when I am waiting somewhere away from home. I love my iPad Air due to its weight, beauty, and retina display.
All of these devices for one person may seem like overkill, but we recycle devices in our family. When one device dies, there's always an extra to be handed out to whoever needs it. We all like instant gratification! Our grandson's iPad 2 is about on its last legs due to many drops and 1 new screen, so he will get my iPad 4 when his goes completely.
When you download the game on a different device, a popup asks if you want to use the current game (which is the new empty one) or if you want to use the one in progress. You choose the one in progress. When our granddaughter got a new iPad, she chose the wrong answer; and a brand new HD came up. When she went back to her old device and started HD however, it told her there was already a game in progress and did she want to use that one. She chose the old game, and all was well.
TMI? Probably. But can you tell that I love, love, love Apple products?

It worked for me! Thanks everyone! I'm so excited to be able to play HD when I don't have wifi! Now to find out if I can do the same with Happy Street!
