Hay Day Players often use abbreviations to describe some of the features of the game. Here are a few.
BEM - Barn Expansion Materials or Bolts, Planks and Tapes.
BRT - Big Red Tractor - a much sought after, but expensive decoration (1,500,000 coin) DD - the Daily Dirt or newspaper
LEM - Land Expansion Material - Stakes, Mallets & Deeds
LITTLE PEOPLE - One of the walk up visitors to the farm, the Little Red Riding Hood and Paul Bunyan, who try to buy goods cheaply.
NSP - Nails, Screws Panels - Silo Expansion materials or SEMs
SEM - Silo Expansion Materials - Nails, Screws and Panels.
Snake - the Unintended Recipient of a trade. Often not aware there is a Trade in Progress.
SC - Supercell, the Game Developer.
Tom - The Errand Boy. Will only work for Diamonds, but may be helpful. Sometimes appears to be Lazy but always Delivers. Next nappie, 2 hours.
TB - Turbo Boating. For the cost of 5 Diamonds, you can Get Boat Now. TT - Turbo Trucking - One of the achievements, involving fulfilling a certain number of truck orders in a period of time. It requires some preparation and we all love to help you. More info is here.

Wheating - Repeatedly planting and harvesting wheat to collect expansion, mining items, saws and axes.

Tian (or Tiann): a silly mistake. I'm not pointing fingers here, but the word was derived from the names Tina and Ann
