Town Little People (LP's) and Personal Train (PT) Challenge!

As I said its up to people, me personally, I'm sending every egg train person away. I always look at things in time and effort. If I can get from A to B in 1 motion, done.

Egg train comes every 6 hours, it brings the 12 lp if it's maxed out. Now I don't know the exact number of partipants in our NH who have maxed out. So if there are 11 of us who have and 6 more who have 11 and 4 who have 10. We have 238 lp every 6 hours, divided by 21 NH players.

That gives each of us 21.6 lp to pick up in a perfect world, variables depend on each players PT max pickup. In my case it's 5 so if I just do myself in this

5 lp every 2 hrs = 15 over 6 (and new batch arrives)

With them it's obviously OAD so let's say out of those 15 I get

6 B&B (6 hrs per) - 30%
4 cinema (3 hrs or so) - 10%
4 diner (2.5 hrs) - 0%
1 spa (3.5 hrs) - 20%

So i clear all 15 and they all go away.

Now if I keep TAD people I have to serve them 2x obviously and they don't get out after 6 hours so I'm stuck with them. Most all TAD it seems either have spa or b&b mixed with another store.

B&B + Diner for example = 8.5 hours per gift & I lose potentially 4 items all the way up to 10 depending on their requests. I lose time & a gift in process in same period it would require me to simply serve them 1 D & 1 B&B individually. It's all about acquisition and assets, when the asset fails to net it's worth, gotta dump it. In my case 2 gifts > 1 gift for potentially same output on items.

Never thought of it that way. I always presumed, that people who goes to more buildings give rarer gifts, but i was to lazy to check that...

I'm low on almost everthig now so ill start sending people who wants to go to three buildings. Starting 20 mins from now.

My way of playing the town is the same as Karens. I am looking towards more xp/rep, time and items rather than gifts

Karen, your first statement is that you can't find six LPs to pick up. If my eggspress train comes by and I tell them to all take a hike, I will have 12 LPs for you to pick from.

Your third statement is that it is not a way to help each other? The train comes every six hours and drops off 12 LPs I will tell thanks but no thanks. Every three hours I can go get six LPs from my neighbors. So, I can go get 12 LPs in the same amount of time the Eggspress train comes.

Logically, I would send my LPs from my train away creating 12 LPs for y'all to pick up. I would go get 12 LPs within those six hours from you guys.

I will use three people as an example, in no particular order, of course, LOL!

Did we gain any LPs, no, we swapped 12 for 12 but we swapped LPs that were asking for two and three buildings before giving a gift for LPs that only need to visit ONE building to give a gift.

Oh it is true that your punters will end up there anyway, no matter if you put them there right away or "service" them, LMAO! However, I can pick up six and if you only have two or three waiting, I have to decided if I want to waste the missed opportunity or move on to someone with the six I can pick up.

I guess it is a strategy of quantity over quality too. You are right that in order for this to work, you'd have to feed them. Six in the cinema, you want the gift, you gotta feed'em.

However, Matt's numbers are correct. If you are looking to maximize your gifts and for that matter, maximize your time spent, this is the way.

A punter wanting to visit the B&B, Spa and Diner is going to take all day. If you sent that jerk away and replaced him with a PT pick-up that wants just the B&B (worse case scenario) and will surely give you a gift, than this is your best method.

If I can get my PT to come every two hours, next upgrade, than I can get three sets of LPs from my neighbors. I could theoretically, pick up 18 LPs with my PT in the same time frame as the eggspress trains 12 LPs every six hours. However, you're right that my neighbors do not have the optimum 6 LPs to be picked up.

If my neighbors were to send away the three building LPs, they would "Likely" have average or four LPs on their platform. I could pick up four LPs every two hours and reach that same goal of 12 LPs picked up in six hours. This is why I suggested JUST the three building LPs. You'll need the two building LPs for filler.
