Info from Supercell forum about New Town.I would like to create a guide for the New Town for the forum. In the meantime, you can go to the link to SC and see the one that has been started over there.
forum.supercell.net/showthread.php/277279-New-Town-GuideOz has already posted this link, but I couldn't find her post so I turned it into its own thread. I will try to create our own and keep it updated as data comes in. Please, please check the posts following this one and post additions and corrections to be included. Thanks.

Land ExpansionI did a quick tot up of items needed to fully expand and came up with 200/ea item, I found this on SC forum so maybe Ann you can add it to your 'guide' somehow? ...and delete this msg once you've worked your magic To expand all beach spots, you will need: 108 maps, 57 deeds, 88 mallets and 71 markers. To expand all land in town centre (minus one hidden area), you will need: 108 maps, 82 deeds, 51 mallets and 83 markers. The grand total (to expand all beach + all land spots, minus the hidden one), you will need: 216 maps, 139 deeds, 139 mallets and 154 markers. And so the hunt for maps continues...

That's crazy pants! Oz, and others who started hay day many moons ago.... Were deeds half as hard to aquire, as the maps are now? I feel like the players have zero control over finding maps....
Thanks for the info!
Whoops, I just realized I probably should not start discussion here. Bad mum.

Not a problem, Mum. Can always put up a different thread and lock this one if need be. It's good to collect as much information as possible before putting it down in a guide.
Everyone, please feel free to add to the discussion and add new information that you find. I'll put it all together in one place when enough has been gathered.

Personal Train Upgrades
I lifted this from Jon from another thread. His had colors, as will the final version (maybe) when the Guide is created. **********************
Personally, I have buildings sitting idle because I have used up my capable visitors. If I have more visitors, I could fill my six building slots but they are sitting idle, waiting on a train. Upgrading the train takes rare expansion materials but the personal train only needs bars, we can make these!
First upgrade must have been the tutorial...
Second upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Third upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Fourth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Fifth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Ten. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Sixth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Ten. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Seventh upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Ten. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Eighth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Fifteen. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Ninth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Fifteen. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Tenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Fifteen. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Eleventh upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Twenty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Twelve upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Twenty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Thirteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Twenty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Fourteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Twenty-Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Fifteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Twenty-Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Sixteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Twenty-Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Seventeenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Thirty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Eighteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Thirty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Nineteenth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Platinum Bar Times Thirty. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Twentieth upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Silver Bar Times Thirty-Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.
Twenty-first upgrade is asking for Refined Coal, Iron Bar, Gold Bar Times Thirty-Five. You can choose to add a visitor or make the train come back quicker.

Also lifted from Jon.
"Personal trains can only be upgraded by reputation level. Example, reputation level five can upgrade PT up to but not beyond FIVE TIMES.
Personal trains have to take all visitors from one town. Example, my train can pick-up four visitors but they will all be picked up at Ann's farm. I can not pick up two from Chump's town and two from Jill's town. It is a one shot deal."

Have you noticed, that you can speed up neighbors personal train maintenance with your own diamonds?
Thank you unknown neighbor for doing exactly that this morning. Be careful when you're checking what neighbors lp wants?

Peter, I MAY have done this a few times. Jill was saying that her PT time went down and wanted to know if someone would pickup her LP's to check.
I may have thought that the speed up was MY train and used the diamonds.....
Maybe but not entirely sure.

I can find nothing that equates the number of neighbors being picked up reducing the train to faster times. Peter is on to something, and perhaps everyone should be careful when picking up neighbors. I'll keep looking. SC provides no real details about many of the new things, and it has been left up to players to pull out the information, either by experience or by supposition.

Personal Train Upgrades
Jon's upgrade numbers for the Personal Train and those I have found elsewhere do not agree past a certain point. I have no idea which is correct, if either.
If anyone has information which can help us figure this out, please let me know in this thread. This is a thread in progress until I feel it is firm enough to put up as a separate GUIDE with the others.

Ann, mine was deductive reasoning. Do you mean the quantity of bars needed for each upgrade?

Yes, I do. The info I have posted is from someone at SC who broke it down into separates parts of capacity and time in a straight line. Yours makes better sense, but I don't want to put out unproven information, if I can help it. The only numbers I know for sure are the ones in my own town, and I've already forgotten some of those!
There are at least 20 upgrades for sure, and yours makes total sense in order to upgrade both capacity and time, no matter how it's done.
Thanks for sticking with this and for helping me. I can't do it alone because my level is not as high as some of the others so I don't have the necessary information.

I also wonder if the personal train can actually be upgraded to arrive every 30 minutes. Does anyone know that for a fact? Maybe I need to read the tutorials better.

The only place I have seen a decrease in maintenance time down to 30-minute intervals has been in a member's guide on Supercell. Nothing I've seen is official from SC, so I really don't know for sure. At any rate, if it does decrease down to 30-minute intervals, these would be the requirements for the upgrades, I think.
Thanks for the help.

I've had similar happen and reported it to SC. They're "working" on it. Your comment is hilarious!
