This visitor event is starting to tick me off... all they ask for is saws and axes and I don't want to sell those. But they always seem to ask for the things you got most of.... so I guess it's time to buy a gazillion bacon and eggs so they can buy those off me. (Quoted from the off topic thread) Yes, you can make serious coin with this event! They always ask for either one of the top 2 (maybe top 3?) items from your barn/silo, or for a item that you have zero of. I'm currently feeding them eggs. I harvest those plus buy them for 5 coin each, sell them for 22 each. Also feeding them crops (otherwise they would get nautious), whatever I can harvest a lot and/or buy really cheap. (Awwww, I'm sorry for you Tina )

Note: I tried tomatoes too, but Greg offered only 410 per 10 for those. Anyone else got tips on what works great and what doesn't?

the good thing about this event is the patronage achievement... if you want to go for it... you will have to sell what they are asking for...

You can also bring back your stock to zero, for an item that you can buy plenty of. That way, you'll first get the order from a visitor and if the offer is good, you can buy what they ask.

Tomatoes sell well indeed, and strawberries.... well just a bit above 50 each. Greg bought 90 strawberries from me for +/- 4850.
Only problem is that I got 60 saws and 60 axes so I must have over 60 in stock of the item I want to sell them. The last time with this event I used redberry pies because there were plenty in the DD, but this time not so much. Tried chocolate popcorn too but once I had 20 in stock I couldn't find any more for over an hour. So now I'm sticking to bacon and eggs...

But you have to manipulate them, Jenn, make them ask what tou want / have to sell. So sell some of those axes and saws, and then gather a higher amount of something else. Eggs, bacon, shawls, what ever you can gather in a high enough amount. And/or, bring back the amount of easy to buy stuff back to zero, the will come and ask for it. You'll earn a little less then, but it works.

Karen, I have been thinking that smoothies were rather useless as none seem to selling quickly. In your case obviously, they were not. My trucks and boats never ask for any, so I haven't made many. I'm still amazed at what you can keep in your barn while holding others' BEM all the time as well.

This load of smoothies was gathered in a few hours, with the only purpose to sell them asap to the little people . Normally, I have only a few smoothies in stock (less than 10), for truck orders. I just sold 65 blue sweaters, yay! Also gathered from the DD, in only 15 minutes or so I had 90.

I need to take lessons from you about the little people. I obviously don't plan as well as you do as I have made very little coin during this event.
