So as many of you know I turbo boat... So I wanted to get everyone thoughts on joining up as a team and doing this as a team for next boat event. I'd buy 3 or 4 packs of the $99.99 - 3,750 diamond packs as soon as event starts and then change my farm name to our forum to get people visiting ( lola ) and we could dominate or make a run at winning an event. Obviously it would require a team effort with items but thought it'd be fun and give is something crazy to do and hell id be the one spending the $300-400. Any par-takers ? Thoughts ? Concerns ? Note: then I can hire tom on mine and wife farm for 10 days on each and then have a replenish list similar to team bolt & screw loose

Aww, I can't join, I don't have a payment method (only creditcard, and I don't own/want a creditcard). It's also a matter of principal, I don't want to pay for any online game as long as there's a free play option. But it would be really interesting to see you guys pull this off Ofcourse I'm willing to support by getting you guys items for your boatloads, just let us know what you need on the forums and I'll wheat up!

I'm in for whatever help. I can hire Tom for five days as long as I can use him once for jellybeans!
So, do we all take turns filling crates? Are specific people in charge of collecting specific items? Have you figured out how many boats we would need to sail to come close to winning the event? And, how many hours a day we need to actively participate?
I'm sure matt has already figured out a plan of action! I worry that you will spend so much money without the team knowing what obligations are required to meet the the goal.
Go for it turbo boy! Will be fun to see what happens.

Chantal, I don't think matt is asking for a monetary contribution. Just asking for filling crates and collecting items. I think?
Matt, will you go fake coin broke doing this, or will the monies from boat rewards even out? Please draw pictures for my lame mind!

Ohh sorry, I thought the idea was to get as many people as possible who also buy diamonds and do some turbo boating with him

I have some of the same questions, Mum, because I can't yet see how it would work. Is there a bigger, better prize for the winning team, or does the team just get the satisfaction of winning? It's an awful lot of money to spend on just one event, Matt, though you have offered to pay it all. I will help fill crates but would like more information on how it would work as a team event.

I think one of the benefits of this is forum promotion. Though the results will be chat house specific. If we are top runners for the event, our chat house will become visible to all who view the results.
I too can't spend cash Chantal, but I can hire tom, even if only for 1 day.

We can each hire Tom, but how will we know what to ask from him? Turbo-boating goes faster than Tom moves for sure. And how is it made somewhat equal for everyone who contributes?
Perhaps my brain is too old to figure this out, but I see problems for me and maybe for others, at least without more specifics.

Me too, don't want to miss any of the fun for sure. Have the same questions asked by others though.

Money: No need for any others to contribute to my purchase
Coins: I don't think I'll go broke, I might lose 500k but whatever
Help: I'd just need ppl to fill crates then sell me what is need for other crates.
There would obviously he a window where if be asleep so we could re -stock for 8-10 hours. I personally think our group could destroy some of these other teams who do this. If ppl buy tom that would obviously help to and I'd still have my two food for sem partners to trade with so we'd have that extra help to boot.
Also this place might be hit hard with new members bc there are millions of gamers and even if 1/2 of 1% came over we'd have 10,000 new members (on a small guess of 2M gamers).... We'd be turbo expanding at that point. Muhahaha

I keep meaning to get a Playhayday twitter account and tweet at anyone who mentions the game. That would work well

Yes hip! Good idea.
And, matt, we can help you recoup fake coins after the fact. So, what do we get? Fun and bragging rights? Fine by me. Just wondering.

I just stumbled upon a thread where they say that some of the top contributors spend over $1000 on those events. I thought I'd better give that information here too, I don't know if it's true but it would be a pity if you invest 300 bucks in this and still don't even get close to the top rankings. I don't know if there's a way to calculate it, but perhaps we can watch the counter on how many boats the top contributors sent off and how many diamonds that must have cost them (roughly).
